killtaupe:

Illustrator, and whiskey aficionado, Matthew Ryan Sharp is hard at work in the studio brewing up a new batch of gypsy-carnie-vaudeville-drifter type folks for our two-man exhibit Purveyors of Firewater and Opiates.

Hedonistic bears on shore leave, moonshine chugging clowns and more can be found when Purveyors opens June 16th at LIFT in Royal Oak.

I was comissioned by a bar to make some hand painted signs for piles of cash…
Done.
All hand lettered using One-Shot and a couple lettering quills/striper brushes.

cjdesigns:

Did this just for kicks, not to show any sort of skill but more of just the experience and getting an idea of what might go into hand painting any sort of signage.

One of my students from class decided to fool around with hand painted lettering based off of his business card design. More designers need to have a drive and appreciation for type & aesthetic layout. I wish I had a class full of students like Cody. Solid works.
